Wayland, MA: MPS O30 were back to their winning ways last weekend at Apline Field in Wayland. The first muggy day of the spring season seemed to impact both sides in the opening half. MPS dominated possession without creating much in the way of clear cut scoring opportunities. In the closing 10 minutes the goalkeeper from White Eagles was fooled by a long pass into the box. The inadvertent goal gave MPS a 1-0 lead at halftime.

MPS started the second half strong. Alo converted an outstanding header from a Jeff L cross in the opening five minutes for 2-0. Shortly after, a long pass sprung Yosh down the left. His pinpoint cross was met by Jeff L, who promptly smashed it in for 3-0 MPS.

The game opened up considerably after that goal. Boston White Eagles did create several scoring opportunities, including one that had to be cleared from goal line. Overall, the final 20 minutes lacked the same quality of play as the opening 70.
