Wayland, MA: MPS O30 ground out a gritty 1-0 win against Kendall Wanderers this past Sunday to remain top of the Division I South table. For the second week in a row MPS were forced to play with only 11 players through injuries and life commitments. Ron Murphy made his season debut after an extended absence through injury. His PK late in the first half proved to be the eventual game winner in a hard fought game.
The back four for MPS, along with goalkeeper Dimitri Strunkin, have been the MVPs of the current spring season for MPS O30. The standings show that MPS O30 have only conceded two goals through seven matches. That has been the platform the team has built upon. With three weeks left in the regular season MPS O30 will look to put the finishing touches on its first XI as it prepares for another playoff run.
